Alma Coffee roasters in Canton Georgia provided the sweetest chocolate taste that I have ever had! Their roast Belen Gualcho boasts a malt chocolate, green grape, and graham cracker taste. The beans from Honduras are processed in a wet wash. Wet wash is the process of removing the layers of fruit around the bean before drying to provide a cleaner, less acidic taste. You are tasting more of the coffee itself and this characteristic tends to have a more consistent taste than other methods of processing coffee. One thing I loved about the Buen Gualcho was the smooth chocolate taste. It was consistent with each brew and also balanced well with the green grape taste. I had this coffee grinded for a french press and it was the best way to wake up in the morning. I highly recommend this roast! Their website is linked below!!
