The Daily Grind is the first coffee shop I ever started actively going to. Situated in Marietta, it encompasses a homier and quieter atmosphere. Full of familiar faces and friends behind the counter, The Daily Grind has become a second home. Their menu has a wide variety of items including their signature java coolers that can be made with an ice cream or espresso base. My favorite java cooler is the cookies and cream java cooler with the ice cream base. Talk about heaven right there. My usual order is a small HouseBlend coffee with sugar free caramel, cream, and two splendas (only $3!!). What I love about Daily Grind is how sweet and smooth their coffee is. Their menu also encompasses a variety of specialty drinks and delicious smoothies including the sinful delight (delicious), the creamy caramel, the CocaMocha, the CocaMochaNut, and the mango smoothie (my personal favorite). On top of the amazing coffee and non coffee options, their food is to die for. My personal favorite items are the club panini with their special sauce, their parfaits, and their ginormous cookies. For me, the Daily Grind has been my favorite place for the past five years. I meet countless friends here to catch up and have fellowship with one another, as well as study for my classes.
