Located in the heart of downtown Milledgeville, Blackbird coffee is fueling the lives of students and professors across the campus. With indoor and outdoor seating, it is the perfect place to meet a friend, work on homework, or grab a coffee to take to class. Their menu is extensive and delicious and can cure almost any craving! If needing something sweet, their signature lattes (vanilla caramel (YUM), creme brûlée (also YUM), honey nut soy, and nuts and berry soy), famous smoothies (funky monkey, green machine, or fiesty), or their caramel apple cider is the way to go! This fall, they offer seasonal lattes such as the Caramel Maple, Pumpkin Pie, Vanilla Cinnamon, Golden Milk Oat, and Caramel Apple. I have tried the Pumpkin Pie and the Caramel Maple and they are fall in a mug. They also offer plenty of food items with giant cookies, muffins, bagels, yogurts, and sandwiches. Blackbird even offers ice cream with options such as an adffogato (ice cream with espresso on top) or the cookie a la mode. With so many options, one can never go wrong! While Blackbird serves the local Milledgeville community, they do require that you buy something as you enter the building. They have stopped me before and asked me to purchase a drink or item off the menu before finding my table. I do not mind because their coffee is so good; however, in a college town, I cannot always afford to buy a latte! I highly recommend Blackbird and love meeting friends there or grabbing a coffee before class! Their website is below!
