Jittery Joe's Coffee

Jittery Joe’s coffee is a local Athens chain that has spread its bean across the state of Georgia with locations in Bethlehem, Watkinsville, and Atlanta. I was able to visit the Downtown Athens location for a quick visit following a Georgia game. With this convenient location, fans and students can fuel before or after cheering on the Dawgs! Jittery Joe’s has been roasting their own beans since 1994 and has been named one of the top 24 coffee houses in American by Rolling Stones Magazine. Their menu caters to every need from espresso, drip, blended drinks, teas, cocoa, and ciders. Jittery Joes offers a variety of mochas ranging from caramello, turtle, yin yang, white turtle, and pumpkin. With a multitude of flavor shots such as butter pecan, English toffee, gingerbread, brown sugar cinnamon, and many more, every cup of joe can be made to your cravings. I tried their gingerbread latte with oat milk and it was the perfect holiday drink! As for their foods, this shop offered bagels as well as an assortment of baked goods such as muffins, Danishes, cookies, and croissants! Jittery Joe’s is an Athens legacy that you can take home to your door. You can purchase their grounds online or in person. My family has tried their grounds “Attack the Day”, “Widespread panic Up All Night”, and “Mama’s Boy” and they are all delicious! They even sell Keurig pods if that is your method of brewing!
