With scrumptious baked goods and sweet coffee, Bottletree Bakery is home for locals across the Mississippi. While spending a weekend in Downtown Oxford, I visited this coffee shop and bakery and could see why so many people call Bottletree home. I saw countless regulars coming in through the door and smiling faces behind the counter ready to greet each one. Their food menu is extensive! I tasted their turkey and cheddar croissant and it was delicious! Maggie had her favorite chocolate croissant that I also was able to try and it was heavenly! Jenna tasted the honey cream cheese danish and she was head over heels for it! They also offer ginger scones, almond bear claws, blueberry humble pie, monkey bread, simple danishes, brioches, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies, blondies, and a variety of breakfast sandwiches such as a biscuit with egg and cheese. For those who want a more simple breakfast, they also provided customers with parfaits and basic pastries. While their baked goods were absolutely amazing, their coffee was just as good! I tried the baristas favorite, an irish creme latte with oat milk and it did not disappoint! What used to be an old concert venue, Bottletree still maintains it's diner atmosphere with counter seating and an electric atmosphere. I cannot wait to come back and visit again soon!
