Island Roasters Coffee Company is the local "neighborhood fix" for those living and visiting New Smyrna Beach, Florida. While roasting their own beans, running a sandwich shop, and serving those around them, Island Roasters perfectly caters to every need. As soon as I arrived, I could sense the beachy atmosphere with bright colors, a relaxing environment, and an easy essence. Their menu consists of their summer specials such as the Florida Aloha Tea, matcha, lavender coconut cold brew, and the honey badger. They also offer hot or cold lattes, mochas, tea, and chai tea lattes. Baked daily are chocolate nutella, apple almond, chocolate espresso bean, butterscotch cream cheese, and banana cinnamon muffins. YUM!! What surprised me the most was the Boar's Head sandwich deli inside the shop as well. This provides beach goers with an easy lunch to accompany their day on the water. Island Roasters provides avocado toast, bagels, and a variety of sandwiches such as the North Causeway (chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese, arugula, jalapeños, blueberry chipotle bar-b-que sauce on Dave’s killer bread), Aloha Turkey BLT (Aloha Sunshine Turkey breast, atop Muenster cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato with a touch of Bar-b-que sauce, mayo and a pineapple relish), and the Chicken Salad Wrap (EverRoast Chicken salad, crasins, celery, scallions, Havarti cheese and arugula served on a sundried tomato or spinach wrap) among a multitude of other combinations! Island Roasters roasts their own beans in shop and these beans are available in store and online for purchase!
