Sitting in the lobby of the Marriot Hotel in Downtown Nashville, Moonshot Coffee Bar is a breathe of fresh air as you walk through the doors. With bright decor and colors spanning every inch of their shop, one can feel uplifted and revived. I felt even more revived after tasting their delicious coffee and food options! Their menu offers specialties such as their Colada (espresso, pineapple, coconut, and lime), Guinevere (espresso, lavender, and rose latte), the Roxy (espresso, orange, orange blossom, and tonic (almond matcha shakerato) along with their signatures. Moonshot signatures include the Man on the Moon, the Flower Child, Ring of Chain, Bella Donna, and the Dirty Teddy. I tasted their Ring of Chain latte consisting of a double shot of espresso, white chocolate, lavender and my personal choice of oat milk. It was absolutely delicious! I love how their menu dares to be different and tries unique combinations to make coffee fun and exciting! For breakfast and lunch, Moonshot Coffee Bar provides croissant waffles, lemon curds, Ooey Gooey butter cake, bagels, and a host of all day sandwiches. I ordered the Turkey Pesto sandwich with turkey, pesto, basil, pepper jack, tomato, and onion on a plain bagel. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! Lucy had their regular salad with arugula, avocado, ginger sesame dressing, and mandarin oranges topped with french fried onions and sesame seeds! Their pastries include carrot cake cream pie, vegan matcha donut, a variety of loads, cakes, and macarons! Moonshot roasts their own beans and provides a “bohemian and arty” experience as you enjoy their shop.
