Fueling local beach goers on South Beach Street, Sweet Marlays' is a homey coffee shop that welcomes anyone and everyone. With an extensive coffee, tea, and food menu, Sweet Marlays' has you covered for any need and craving. Their menu boasts their house favorite lattes including the Fighting Latte (Irish cream and English toffee), the Creme Brûlée, Almond N’ Joy (Ghirardelli chocolate, coconut, and almond), the Beach Day latte (caramel and sea salt), Southern Praline Latte (butter pecan, chocolate, and caramel), the Snickerdoodle, and the Tickle Me Pink (Ghirardelli white chocolate and raspberry). They also offer chai lattes, Cafe Au’ Lait, Cuban coffee, Bubble Tea, and Bahama lemonade. I tasted their latte of the week, the Cinnamon Roll, which consisted of cinnamon, brown sugar, and white chocolate. It was extremely tasty and was the perfect combination! My brother-in-law tried the Beach Day Latte and it was definitely my favorite! With options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Sweet Marlays’ has you covered all day long! We all ordered a breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage, and cheese on an English Muffin. They also offer bagels, spinach pie, quiche, cookies, muffins, bread pudding, biscotti, fruit pockets, and turnovers! For lunch and dinner, Sweet Marlays’ provides customers with hummus, turkey paninis, and their daily specials! My brother-in-law branched out from the rest of my family and sampled the turkey panini which was delicious! One aspect of this shop that I enjoyed was their shop section with goods from locals in the community featuring coffee mugs, earrings, and journals! They also provided books, chess, and checkers for customers to enjoy as they savored their delicious coffees and baked goods. I loved how easy this shop felt and how they invited you to stay a while!
